If the diagonals of a rhombus are 9 cm and 12 cm, then the perimeter of the rhombus (in cm) is:

Solution:

AC=9 ; B D=12

∴ A E=\;{9}/{2} ; B E=6

AB ^{2}=( AE )^{2}+( BE )^{2}=\;{81}/{4}+36=\;{225}/{4}

Perimeter

=4AB=4×15/2=30
