Solution:

∆=|\table\a,\b,\c;\b,\c,\a;\c,\a,\b|

∆=a(b c-a^{2})-b(b^{2}-a c)+c(a b-c^{2})

=3abc-(a^3+b^3 +c^3)

Since a, b, c are distinct positive integers,

(a^3+b^3+c^3) > 3abc

⇒3abc-(a^3+b^3+c^3) < 0
