There are two paths each 10 m wide and cutting each other perpendicularly at the centre of a garden 150 m long and 120 m wide. Find the cost of graveling the path at Rs.2/

Solution:

Area of two paths = 10 × (150 + 120 − 10)
= 10 × 260 = 2600

m^2

Cost of graveling the path = 2600 × 2
