Find out the ratio between each angles of the regular pentagon and hexagon.

Solution:

Sum of angles of regular pentagon = (2n − 4) × 90°
= (2 × 5 − 4) × 90° = 540°
⇒ Each angle of regular pentagon =

{ 540 ^ { ° } } /{ 5 } = 108 ^ { ° }

⇒ Sum of angle of regular hexagon = (2n − 4) × 90°
= (2 × 6 − 4) × 90° = 720°
⇒ Each angle of regular hexagon =

{ 720 ^ { ° } }/ { 6 } = 120 ^ { ° }

∴ Ratio between each angle = 108 : 120
= 9 : 10
