Solution:

(4) Let L and B be the length andbreadth of the rectangle,respectively.
2(L + B) = 180
L + B = 90 ……………………….…(1)Also
L – B = 8 ……………………….……(2)
By solving (1) and (2), we get:
L = 49 m and B = 41 m
Area of rectangle = 49 m × 41 m= 2009
