If 50% of (P – Q) = 30% of (P +Q) and Q = x% of P, then the value of x is

Solution:

(2) Let 50% of (P–Q)= 30% of (P+Q)

{1}/{2} ×(P-Q)=\ {3}/{10} \×(P+Q)

⇒ 10 P-10 Q=6 P+6 Q

4P = 16Q and hence P = 4Q
Therefore, Q is
