If the volume of a cylinder is 3850 cubic cm and height is 25 cm, what is its radius? (Take π = 22/7)

Solution:

Let radius of cylinder = r cm and height = 25 cm
Volume of cylinder = 3850 cm

πr^2h = 3850

⇒

22 /7× (r^2 ) × 25 = 3850

⇒

r^2= {3850×7}/{22×25}={77×7}/11

⇒

r = √{7×7}=7 cm
