{AC}=√{a^{2}+b^{2}}=10

⇒{a}^{2}+b^{2}=100

∴{1}/{2} a b=20

⇒a b=40

square units

∴(a+b)^{2}=a^{2}+b^{2}+2 a b

=100+2 \× 40=180
