The circumference of a triangle is 24 cm and the circumference of its in-circle is 44 cm. Then the area of the triangle is

The centre of incircle is point ‘O’.
OD = OE = OF = r

∴ 2\πr = 44

⇒ 2 ×{22}/{7}×r=44

⇒ r= {44 × 7}/{2× 22}=7 {cm} .

∴

Area of

\Δ{ABC}

= {1}/{2}( {AB}+ {BC}+ {CA}) × r

= {1}/{2}× 24× 7=84

square cm.
