$5\left(44.55\right)=4\left(50.45+\mathit{x}\right)$
$222.75=201.8+4\mathit{x}$
$20.95=4\mathit{x}$
$5.25=\mathit{x}$
∴ Quantity of water to be added = 5.25 kg
