Solution:

A number when divided by 3 leaves the remainder 2, only in case the unit digit is equal to 5.
The unit digit of a cube of a number will be 5
When we divide 5 with 3 then, the remainder is 2.
Hence,

n^3/ 3

leaves the remainder 2.
