Three digit number ‘N’ has ‘x’ at the hundred place and y at one unit place.
Let N has z at its tens place
Now,

N=100x+10z+y

N-100x-y=10z

{N-100x-y}/10=z

Clearly, from equation (i), we can say that L.H.S is always divisible by 10.
