. If the perimeter is 52 cm, then find the length of the smallest side.

Solution:

Ratio of the sides =

1/2 : 1/3 : 1/4

= 6 : 4 : 3
Hence, length of the smallest side =

3/{6+4+3} × 52

3/{13} × 52

= 12 cm
