According to the question,
$\Rightarrow 62\mathit{x}+72\mathit{y}=64\left(\mathit{x}+\mathit{y}\right)$
$\Rightarrow 62\mathit{x}+72\mathit{y}=64\mathit{x}+64\mathit{y}$
$\Rightarrow 2\mathit{x}=8\mathit{y}$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}/\mathit{y}=4/1$
∴ The required ratio is 4 ∶ 1
