Average number of males in Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand

=[(36+30+15+15) / 4] × 1000=24,000

Number of affected males in other states

=187 \%

of 24000 (according to the question)

=44,880

So, total number of males affected in India

=44880+4 × 24000=44880+96000=140,880
