‘Prahaar’ is a solid–fuel surface–to–surface short–range tactical ballistic missile. It was developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and was launched from mobile Launch Complex–III, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Balasore, off the Odisha coast. It has an operational range of 150 km and a flight altitude of 35 km.
