Members of the forces employed in connection with thecommunication systems set up in the country are not treated at par so far as the availability of Fundamental Rights is concerned.Article 33 of the Constitution of India empowers the Parliament (not state legislature) to restrict or abrogate the fundamental rights of the members of the armed forces, paramilitary forces and analogous forces. The main aim for this provision is to ensure the proper discharge of their duties and to maintain discipline amongst them.
