(a) When some charge is placed on a soap bubble, due to the repelling force between the charges, they try to remain as far as possible to minimise the overall potential energy which gets facilitated by the hydrophilic end of the soap molecules. These hydrophilic ends help in uniform spreading of the charges. As an effect of this, the size of the bubble increases which ultimately increases the length of its radius.
