(b) On Iltutmish’s coins, the name of the last Caliph of Baghdad appeared for the first time. He was the slave of Qutb-ud-din Aibak, who later became his son-in-law. He introduced Silver Tanka and Copper Jital and put the name of the last Caliph on the coins.
