Solution:

A decimal number is divisible by 9 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 9.
12a34b8322 is divisible by 9 if

(1 + 2 + a + 3 + 4+ b + 8 + 3 + 2 + 2)

is divisible by 9,
i.e.

25 + a + b

is divisible by 9.
Given a > b, from the options

a = 9

and

b = 2

satisfies the above condition.
