Solution:

Let the common ratio of the geometric progression be ‘r‘
Given

t_4=(t_2)^2

ar^3=(ar)^2

⇒r=a⇒r=-3

(since

a=-3

)

t_{7}=a r^{6}=-3(-3)^{6}=-3^{7}

=-2187
