The side of the square is 4 cm less than the length of the rectangle and is 3 cm more than the breadth of the rectangle
Let the side of the square be s cm.
⇒ the length of the rectangle $=\mathit{s}+4$ and the breadth of the rectangle $=\mathit{s}-3$
Given, area of rectangle = area of square
$\Rightarrow \left(\mathit{s}+4\right)\times \left(\mathit{s}-3\right)={\mathit{s}}^2\Rightarrow \mathit{s}=12$
The required answer is the perimeter of the square

$=2\times \left(\mathit{s}+4+\mathit{s}-3\right)=2\times \left(2\mathit{s}+1\right)=2\times \left(2\left(12\right)+1\right)$

$=50\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
