The diameter of the sphere whose volume is 179 - cubic meters?

Solution:

Let the radius of the sphere be r meters.
The Volume of sphere

=4/3πr^3=179{2/3}

⇒ r^{3}=\;{179 × 3+2}/{3} × \;{3}/{4} × \;{7}/{22}

⇒ r=3.5

Hence the diameter of the sphere

= 2×3.5 = 7m
