Solution:

x + a is a factor of

x^2 + bx + c

⇒a^2-ab+c=0

Similarly

a^2-ab+c=0

a^{2}-a b+c=a^{2}-a d+e

a(b-d)=-e+c

a={c-e}/{b-d}
