Solution:

Given :

|1-3x| > 4-x,x > 0

⇒ (i)

1–3x > 4–x

or, (ii)

1–3x < –(4–x)

(i)

1–3x > 4–x

⇒2x < –3

⇒x < -3/2

It doesn’t satisfy x > 0
(ii)

1–3x < x–4

⇒–3x–x < –4–1

⇒–4x < –5

⇒x > 5/4
