The angle between the lines 2x + 3y = 5 and 2(x - 1) + 3(2 + y) = 6 is

Solution:

Given :

2x+3y=5

...(i)

2(x–1)+3(2+y)=6

...(ii)

⇒2x+3y=2

...(iii)
Since

a_1/a_2=b_1/b_2,

the lines given by (i) and (ii) are parallel and hence the angle between them is 0.
