Let the time taken by Sakshi and Shikha alone be x and 3x respectively.
Work done by both in one day =

Now

1/x + 1/{3x}

1/6

{3+1}/{3x}

1/6

1/{3x}

1/{24}

⇒ x = 8, so, Sakshi alone can finish the work in 8 days.
