(3) Firuz Shah Tughluq builtseveral cities. In 1354, he builtthe Firozabad, the fourth cityof Delhi (Qila Rai Pithora, Siriand Tughlaqabad were the earlierones). He also founded thecities of Jaunpur (in UttarPradesh), Hissar, earlierknown as Hissar-Firoza, Fatehabad(both in Haryana) andFerozepur (in Punjab). Few rulerscan boast of founding somany new cities.
