Solution:

(1) Let the length of pipe be h cm, then itsvolume

= π { r } _ { 1 } ^ { 2 } { h } -π { r } _ { 2 } ^ { 2 } { h } =π { h } ( { r } _ { 1 } ^ { 2 } - { r } _ { 2 } ^ { 2 } )

= π { h } ( 25 ^ { 2 } - 24 ^ { 2 } ) = 49 π\ { h } { cu } . { cm } .

∴π { r } ^ { 2 } { h } = 49 π { h } ⇒ { r } ^ { 2 } = 49

∴

Diameter

= 14 { cm }
