The ratio of time, A : B : C = 12 : 24 : 36
⇒ A : B : C = 1 : 2 : 3
The ratio of shares,
⇒ $\mathrm{A}:\mathrm{B}:\mathrm{C}=\frac{1}{1}:\frac{1}{2}:\frac{1}{3}$
⇒ A : B : C = 6 : 3 : 2
⇒ Let the share of A, B and C be 6x, 3x and 2x
⇒ Total money = 3850
⇒ 6x + 3x + 2x = 3850
⇒ 11x = 3850
⇒ x = 350
⇒ The difference in shares of B and C = 3x – 2x = x = Rs. 350
∴ The difference in shares of B and C is Rs. 350.
