Determine the quality factor for maxwell’s inductance capacitance bridge given below when the bridge is supplied by a frequency of 60 Hz.

Solution:

By balance bridge concept

Z_1Z_4=Z_2Z_3

Now

Q = WR_4\Cu

∴Q=2π\fR_4\Cu

(∵ω=2π\f)

=2π×60×60×10×10^{-6}

∴Q = 0.22
