Solution:

Energy Consume = V × I × Hours
= 230 × 15 × t (Volt Hour)
Now 1 kilowatt Hour = 1 unit of energy
230.15.t = 1000 watt hours
∴

t=1000/{230× 15}

= 0.29 hours
