then

43 × 34 = ?

Solution:

(4) In this pattern, 12 × 35 means

(1 + 3) × (2 + 5) = 4 × 7 = 28

29 × 61

means

(2 + 6) × (9 + 1) =8 × 10 = 80

Therefore, 43 × 34 means

(4 + 3) ×(3 + 4) = 7 × 7 = 49
