If the measure of each interior angle of a regular polygon is 144°, then find out the number of sides of the polygon.

Solution:

(2) Measure of each internal angleof a regular polygon of ‘n’ sides is

[{n-2}/n]×180°

Now,

[{n-2}/n]×180°= 144°

(180° -144°)× n = 360°

Therefore, n = 10.
