The area of a square is 21 times the area of a triangle. If the sides of the triangle are 7 cm, 24 cm and 25 cm, then find out the perimeter of the square.

Validate

Solution:

(4) Semi-perimeter of triangle

= {7 +24 +25}/2= 28 cm

Area of triangle

= √{28(28 - 7)(28 - 24)(28 - 25)}

= 84 cm^2

Area of square

= 21 × 84= 1764 cm^2

⇒ Side of square = 42 cm
Perimeter of square = 4 × 42= 168 cm
