(4) Number of cars (petrol & diesel)sold by

S_4 = 0.18 × 8400 = 1512

Number of cars (petrol & diesel)sold by S1 and S5 together = (0.08+ 0.14) × 8400 = 1848
Number of diesel cars sold by S1and S5 together = (0.12 + 0.12) ×4500 = 1080
Number of petrol cars sold by S1and S5 together = 1848 – 1080 =768
Required percentage

=768/1512×100 = 50.79 ≈ 51
