Solution:

(1) M.P. of chair =₹ 800
S.P. of chair after successivediscounts of 10% and 15%

=800×90 /100×85/ 100=₹ 612

Cost of chair for shopkeeperincluding transportation charges= 612 + 25 = ₹ 637
Gain for shopkeeper = 800 – 637= ₹ 163
Gain percentage

=163/637×100= 25.58%
