If the ratio between males and females in Bilaspur is 11 : 8 and 60% females in Bilaspur are illiterates, then how many males of this village are illiterates?

8/19× 3990 = 1680

Number of illiterates women= 60% of 1680 = 1008
Number of illiterates in Bilaspur

= 6/19× 3990 = 1260

Number of illiterates males inBilaspur = 1260 - 1008 = 252
