What is the difference between the number of illiterates of Kadipur and the number of literates of Basai?

Solution:

(1) Number of illiterates of Kadipur

= 3/8× 3248 = 1218

Number of literates of Basai

= 7/9×2709 = 2107

Required difference = 2107- 1218= 889
