For 0°≤ b < a< 90°, if sin a + cos b = 2, then find out the value of $=[{2a-b}/2]$

Solution:

(1) sin a + cos b = 2
sin a ≤ 1 and cos b ≤ 1
⇒ a = 90° and b = 0°
∴sin

[{2a–b}/2 ]=sin (180 –0)/2

sin = sin
=sin 90°=1
