Solution:

Let total quantity of mixture (milk+water) =

100x

ml
⇒ Quantity of milk =

19/100× 100x = 19x

ml
Also, it is given that quantity of milk = 437 ml
⇒

19x = 437

⇒

x =437 / 19 = 23

∴ Total quantity of mixture =

100×23=2300
