As per the Article- 80 of the Constitution of India, the maximum strength of Rajya Sabha is 250 . Rajya Sabha is the Upper House of the Indian Parliament. The members of this house are elected by the Member of Legislative Assemblies of the State and Union Territories and 12 members are nominated by the President. The tenure of member is of 6 years. Unlike Lok Sabha this House is not dissolved.
