Solution:

Part filled by tap A in

1 {h}={1}/{6}

Part emptied by tap B in

1 {h}={1}/{10}

∴ Part filled by

{\tap}(\A+\B)

1 {h}

={1}/{6}-{1}/{10}

={5-3}/{30}={2}/{30}={1}/{15}

∴ Time taken by tap

(\A+\B)

={1}/{{1}/{15}}=15 {h}
