Let the breadth of the rectangle be $\mathit{x}\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$.
and Length of the rectangle $=4\mathit{x}\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
Given, perimeter of rectangle $=50$
According to the question,
Area of square $=$ Area of rectangle
$=100{\mathit{c}\mathit{m}}^2$
${\mathit{a}}^2=100$
$[\because$ Let the each side of square be $\mathit{a}\mathit{c}\mathit{m}]$
$\mathit{a}=\sqrt{100}$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{a}=10\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
$\therefore$ Perimeter of the square
$=4\times \mathit{a}=4\times 10$
$=40\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
