Solution:

(2) Total annual expenditure of the family = Rs. (4 × 2570 + 3 × 2490 + 5 × 3030)
= Rs. (10280 + 7470 + 15150)
= Rs. 32900
Total income = Rs. (32900 + 5320) = Rs. 38220
∴ Required average monthly income

= {38220}/{12}=

Rs. 3185
