Solution:

(2) tanx = sin45°.cos45° + sin 30°

= {1}/{√{2}} .{1}/{√{2}}+ {1}/{2}= {1}/{2}+ {1}/{2}=1

∴ tanx = tan 45° ⇒ x = 45°
