Remaining amount = $\left(100-\frac{15}{2}\right)\%$ of x. = $\left(\frac{200-15}{2}\right)$ % of x
= Rs. $\frac{185\mathit{x}}{200}$ = Rs. $\frac{37\mathit{x}}{40}$
After an expense of 75% of it,
Remaining amount = $\frac{37\mathit{x}}{40\times 4}$= Rs. $\frac{37\mathit{x}}{160}$
According to the question,
$\frac{37\mathit{x}}{160}$ = 370⇒ 37x = 370 × 160
⇒ x = $\frac{370\times 160}{37}$ = Rs. 1600
