Solution:

(1) Duty payment : Laptop ⇒ Rs.

({210000 ×10}/ 100)

= Rs. 21000
Mobile phone ⇒ Rs.

({ 100000 ×8}/ 100)

= Rs. 8000
Television set ⇒ Rs.

({ 150000 ×5}/ 100)

= Rs. 7500
Total Duty Payment = Rs. (21000 + 8000 + 7500) = Rs. 36500
