Let the fraction = x
ATQ,

6/7 \of x=x/{6/7}-39/140

⇒

6/7x={7x}/6-39/140

⇒

{7x}/6-{6x}/7=39/140

⇒

{49x-36x}/42=39/100

⇒

{13x}/42=39/140

⇒

x=39/140×42/13

x=9/10
