In the given figure, the length of arc BC of the given circle is 44 cm. If O is the centre of circle, then what is the radius (in cm) of the circle?

Solution:

According to the question,

Arc BC =44 cm
∠BOC = 90°
The length of arc=44 cm

{2\π\r 90}/360=44

⇒\r={7×360}/90=28\cm
